Stuart Dickinson, ACII

Divisional Head
UK Commercial

• Began his career in 1985 with the Guardian Royal Exchange Group starting in the Personal Lines Department and progressing through a variety of underwriting roles.
• Left his role as Development Underwriter leading a team in the South East Area office in order to take up an underwriting position at Guardian’s London Market Division.
• Moved to Lloyd’s and SVB Syndicate G H Carrington to found the UK SME account in 1999.
• Recruited by Chaucer in 2007 as Commercial Development Underwriter to broaden the range of UK products.

Tom Morrissey, ACII

Deputy Divisional Head
UK Commercial

• Over 24 years experience in the general insurance market.
• Joined Chaucer Insurance in July 2008 to assist in the underwriting & development of the first part of Chaucer’s new business strand - the successfully established general liability account.
• Responsible for the technical underwriting and continued development of the Chaucer Commercial Combined and Liability products.
• Responsible for the technical development of the Assistant Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants.

Russell Guyver, Cert CII

Commercial Development Underwriter

• Has worked in the Insurance industry for 23 years, predominantly in the London and Lloyd's Market specialising in Commercial Property and more recently diversifying into Commercial Combined business.
• Assisted in the development and successful launch of the new Chaucer Commercial Combined product in January 2011 and thereafter the ongoing marketing, underwriting and development of this product.

Keely Ide, Cert CII

Senior Commercial Underwriting Assistant

• Over 10 years experience at Royal Sun Alliance before joining Chaucer in 2008.
• Has a wealth of experience in Liability Underwriting
• Has worked along side Tom Morrissey since 2009 helping to develop our commercial business lines.

Jayne Browning, Cert CII

Commercial Underwriting Assistant

• Started working within the broker personal lines market in 1989 and progressing to Private Car insurance for Royal & Sun Alliance until moving to Ace European for D&O and casualty administration in 2003.
• Joined Chaucer’s Motor Fleet and Motor Referral team in 2006 and has worked within the Commercial Team since 2010.

Louis Rudd, Dip CII

Commercial Underwriting Assistant

• Over 10 years experience in the insurance industry with a varied in background of life and non-life insurances, brokering and underwriting.
• Louis joined Chaucer’s Referral Team in 2008, focusing on Motor Trade policies and in 2011 moved to the Commercial Team.

Luke Setterfield, Cert CII

Commercial Underwriting Assistant

• Following graduation from University Luke began his career in 2009 with Capita Insurance Services, working in the Technical Underwriting team.
• In 2010 Luke joined the Chaucer Commercial Underwriting Team where he currently works under Thomas Morrissey on the Large and Complex Risk Team, specialising in commercial combined cases.
• Luke continues to develop his insurance knowledge and is currently studying for professional qualifications.

James Goldhawk, Dip CII

Commercial Underwriting Assistant

• Joined the UK Commercial Team in 2011 after completing Chaucer’s two year graduation program which involves completing project work in a number of departments; including Underwriting and Claims.
• Main responsibility is to assist in the management and implementation of the department’s initial EDI product and underwriting of the Commercial Combined product.
• CII Diploma qualified he is currently working towards the CII advanced Diploma.

Kathleen Durling, Cert CII

Commercial Underwriting Assistant

• Started working in the Insurance industry at Swift Cover in 2008
• In 2009, Kathleen joined Chaucer Insurance working in commercial vehicle claims and moved to the Commercial Underwriting Department in 2011.
• Main responsibility is working under Keely Ide dealing with liability insurance and working towards her Dip CII qualification.
